CCBill Offers Recurring Transaction Reactivation

TEMPE, Ariz. — Internet Payment Service Provider CCBill is now offering its clients a new membership retention feature designed to ease the reactivation of expired paysite subscriptions.

Known as "Recurring Transaction Reactivation," the new system provides consumers with the ability to expediently reactivate their elapsed subscription accounts using new credit card billing information if their subscription account has been deactivated or failed to rebill due to their credit card being declined.

"The new feature provides consumer account holders with timely awareness of the deactivation via an e-mail notification," Ron Cadwell, CEO of CCBill, said. "This coupled with the supplied link and simple reactivation process will result in shorter time lapses between account deactivation and reactivation, and ultimately higher member retention."

According to the company, the Recurring Transaction Reactivation feature is enabled by default for those who presently use the CCBill User Management feature.

For those who do not, an opportunity to "opt in" is provided.
